About: Assist. Prof. Dr. Gökhan İnce

Assist. Prof. Dr. Gökhan İnce is an academician specialized in special education, particularly known for his work on individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Dr. İnce began his academic life at Anadolu University Special Education Department between 2002-2006, completed his master’s degree in Mental Disabilities Teaching at Marmara University between 2016-2019. He completed his doctorate in Special Education in the joint program between Eskişehir Osmangazi University and Anadolu University between 2019-2024, earning his “Dr.” title.

Dr. İnce’s main areas of work include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), incidental teaching and natural teaching techniques, verbal prompting for individuals with autism, auditory-visual discrimination, vocational skills training, and remote supervision coach training.

Among his academic contributions are the “Moderate-Severe Autism Spectrum Disorder Education Book” published by the Ministry of National Education and the “Data Collection and Recording” chapter in the “Applied Behavior Analysis” book. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and presentations on topics such as auditory-visual discrimination in individuals with ASD, adaptation of AFIRM modules, and screen addiction research on parent-child interaction.

With his theoretical knowledge and practical experience, Dr. İnce makes significant contributions to the development and dissemination of evidence-based approaches in the educational processes of individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
