Fzt. F. Cumhur Elmacı

Fzt. F. Cumhur Elmacı graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty (Çapa) Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1995. With nearly 30 years of experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, Elmacı has specialized particularly in aquatherapy, Bobath, and hippotherapy.

In 1997, he established one of Turkey’s first special education and rehabilitation centers, pioneering work in this field. He founded the Pediatric Physiotherapists Association and served as its president for 6 years. He served a total of 4 years in the Turkish Physiotherapists Association, including 2 years as general secretary.

In his international education and certifications, he received Bobath training from the European Bobath Tutor Association in 2006, aquatherapy training from the International Halliwick Association in 2010, and hippotherapy training from the American Hippotherapy Association in 2012.

While still continuing his Bobath, aquatherapy, and hippotherapy work in Antalya, he provides consultancy services for individuals to live healthily. Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, Elmacı develops personalized rehabilitation programs for each individual’s special needs.
