About: Buse Ejder

Buse Ejder is a specialist who completed her bachelor’s degree at Akdeniz University’s Faculty of Sports Sciences and is continuing her master’s education, specializing in the field of therapeutic recreation.

She has participated in work aimed at supporting children’s physical, emotional, and social development and has served as a therapeutic recreation specialist in special education centers. There, she has conducted studies on play-based interventions and inclusive approaches focused on individual development, particularly in the areas of special education and autism spectrum disorder.

In this context, she has taken an active role in empathy-based social awareness projects aimed at increasing the social integration of individuals with disabilities, gaining in-depth knowledge and experience about the theoretical and practical dimensions of inclusive education.

In her current role, she plays an active role in the scientific planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe and inclusive recreational activities aimed at maximizing each child’s individual potential. In this process, she designs individualized programs appropriate to children’s developmental needs using multidisciplinary approaches and evidence-based practices.
